Look pretty good, Longhunter. You'll find that the wife will never find anything wrong with your work. I have several embarrassing pieces hanging on the wall, because they were some of my first pieces. She won't take them down! So everyday I'm reminded of my progress.

Keep on forgin'

Nice work. That cross turned out real nice. Hey Keykeeper, My mom passed away this year and I finally got to throw away all of that embarrassing art work, sculpture, etc. that I made in my early years. It was sure fun to finally see it get out of sight.

Both look real good. The cross turned out good, I'd just heat it up and tap the top to the right a little bit. Otherwise, it looks real good. Great job.

Highlander I havn't tried forge welding yet I have seen it done several times it looks easy when someone else does it> that means I'll mess it up. Canuk the hoof pick is made from a horse shoe glad you like it and the cross . I think the wife has ideas of making Christmas presents for some of her horse riding friends .
