That reminds me of one of Jeff Foxworthy's redneck lines about financing a tattoo, "..one more payment and this baby is mine".

Hopefully he/she(the artist) will be a sword or knife enthusiast.

Blacksmith Tattoos! Hum, let me look and see. Yup, I am a blacksmith with Tattoos.
But not blacksmith tattoos, unless you count a few burn scars I have collected over the years. Their message means "oooops, don't pick that up ya dummy, its still hot!
It's all in fun anyway!
I believe each individual person needs to define his/her self in the way they need to do it, as long as it does no harm to anyone else!
Be safe, don't pick up black hot steel like did at one time, it may wind up being a natural tattoo.

Hehe Ted, these days a new fad is branding(burning artistic scars), you are WAY ahead of the game! WHat a trendsetter!

Not quite so new. When I was in college back in the dark ages, certain fraternities were very into branding their insignia on their members.

I have been thinking about blacksmith tattoos as well and have settled on Thor's hammer with Rune printing on it.

Blkbear, I hope the tattooist doesn't rune the job and your stuck with a scar for life.

I like to get a tatt but I just can't think of a design I'd be happy with for the rest of my born days. They don't scrub off too easy I hear.

And it's Strine for the win!! (Gotta love a pun)

I think most of us probably have a blacksmith's branding. Unlike a frat brand, however, the blacksmith's brand has no set design or size, and it could be anywhere, though it's most likely to be on the forearms and/or hands.
