Default Arbour/arbor presses for blacksmithing

Anyone found a use in blacksmithing for an arbour press? 1/2 ton ones are available for less than £20, and I can imagine they'd be useful for punching small holes, forming small collars etc.

I use one for pressing out shovel blanks
A Dake 1 1/2 b generally used for broaching keyways
But ive also been known to give it one hard lick with a splitting maul too instead of going thru the trouble with the arbor press for just one shovel.
Usually i make the blanks about ten at a time and shelve them to use as needed.
It seems to me making collars would be just the ticket for one.
