Can anyone subscribe to the newsletters put out by the ABANA affiliate blacksmithing groups? Can you get the newsletter without being a member of the group?

To the best of my knowledge you cannot get the Affiliate
Newsletter without being a member of the Affiliate.

Thanks for the reply Rome. Some of the membership dues are very reasonable.

newsletter editors commonly (exchange) ,send copies to other chapter editors ,as a matter of courtesy if the other editors respond in kind and give credit to authors and newsletters when their articles are reprinted in other newsletter.

Some blacksmith affiliates make their newsletters available online.
One of these affiliates is THE BLACKSMITH GUILD OF VIRGINIA
You can go to Blacksmith Guild of Viriginia - Newsletter and down load the newsletter every month if you would like.

The March Newsletter is now ready to be downloaded if anyone is interested.

..Like Mike has already pointed out there are guilds out there that have files you can view.

We have all newsletters back to 2006 ready for anyone to download...you just need to be patient with the download.

Ours are online as web pages but if anyone would like I will send a copy.
Our editor and myself just took over last year so that's all we have. I will be happy to send to anyone that request.

I'm curious what type of printed newsletters are out there. Is there anyone having a commercial newspaper type product made, or if they are printed on copy paper?

In this day of dwindling resources and expensive power the online version of the news letter should be the only way to fly. If an individual wants a hard copy there is always the printer standing by. Just my opinion for what it's worth.
