ABANA extends voting deadline

At the request of an ABANA board member, and in order to get the work out to the blacksmithing community as quickly as possible, IForgeIron is posting the following authored by Rome Hutchings.

My personal apologies for the late arrival of your Election Edition of the
Anvil's Ring. This is due to a missed communication from the Board to
the Editor/Publisher on the format of the election/by-laws. The cost of
purchasing additional pages versus a special insert was a $2,000.00
savings, so the Board chose the additional pages scheme. This caused
the Editor to reformat the page layouts significantly, and thus the delay.
On the bright side of this issue, the Board is extending the postmark
deadline from September 15th until September 25th. This will allow
you the time to review the candidate statements and by-laws revision.
Please get your votes in the mail no later than September 25. This edition
is more than an election for new board officers as there is a complete
by-laws revision included. Give the by-laws revision your consideration
for approval and vote for any five of the candidates listed on your ballot.
