IIRC, those are the deminsions for the 50#LG. I will check mine when I get home and will also check the Little Giant book as it gives all of the deminsions. Are you looking to sale them? I'm wondering what the primary use would be for them as I don't recall seeing this type of die. course I haven't seen a lot of dies.

I'd appreciate that Thomas.
These are basically the same dies that came with my Fairbanks. Long flat on one length, 2 drawing sections, one slight angle other severe.
I have other pictures , different views if ya wanna see them.

50 lb LG dies- 3.5 l x 2.5 w x 3.5 h (heigth can vary 30% total before die change is recomended). The demensions can vary, as long as the bottom die face isnt bigger than its supporting surface of the die block or frame. The heigth comes from LG, and they recomend changing if the total heigth is 30% less than 7" total.

Those do look like LG dies, as the top has the odd tapered dovetail. Bruce are those 2 piece dies? I see some countersunk bolts i believe.

They have a plate attached with 2 screws on all 3 contaxct surfaces. What's that about.
I sent pictures to the Sudemeirs last week but haven't gotten a respose. Unless I screwed up the pictures:-)

Ive seen 2 piece dies, both Russ Cashion and Sid make them, to swap out die faces... however, those you picture dont appear for that purpose. Not sure really...let us know what you find out.

Bruce, I checked in "The Little Giant Powerhammer" by Richard R.Kern and on pages 117 and 126 it states what Lamey Knives said, 3.5x2.5 for both top and bottm dies. Thes diminsions are for standard flat dies.
