here is a picture of my power hammer, it was built by a friend that has since passed, the base WAS an old wood shaper/router, it works very well, i just need to redesign the foot switch

Is that an Appachalian style spring helve type on top? If so how heavy is your hammer?

yes it is, i guess i didnt get it ALL in the picture, the hammer is about 70 pounds
