My bro has turned me onto the zombie apocalypse thing, and reading a bit of world war Z, so I started work on a zombie survival machete

And a couple of messers in the works

tip detail of above

And the other

Using Aldo's 1060/1077 , it's 3/16ths thick, so I feel comfortable grinding it to shape, with 1/4 I feel like I am wasting too much steel. the blades are blue from the dykem layout spray.

About the zombies, I've heard that a bayonet is best to use because it doesnt get stuck in them, but I'm not sure cause I've never had the chance to test it. but, aside from that, those are some wicked looking blades. That first last one on you first post looks like it'll be a good chopper too.

Colt, best way to stop a zombie undead in his tracks it to lop off the heads.

The little hawk is for a friend of mine(my old teacher in fact), he wants it for skinning his first deer this year.
