Default Sword in the works.

Here is some pictures of a sword I am working on with help from my VERY great awesome teacher John Lundemo. It has been rough ground and normalised, you can just make out the central ridge. It's a short sword. Funny how it looked bigger before grinding, and I only did a little bit of profiling to it . It is from 5160.

I bet you learn so much every time you talk with john that your head spins fast enough to power a grinder!

Good lines and it always seems that profiling a forged piece shrinks it a lot! Working the edge out past the "profile" point helps.

It does, thankfully my ride home is 45 minutes, a great amount of time alone to process what I just learned that day! Great idea, i'll definately remember to oversize it a bit, not used to using a AWESOME grinder! Ron, I am not sure just yet for the handle, guard and pommel, probably just a nice dark wood, maybe desert ironwood or cocobolo, with forged steel guard and pommel in a cool looking well functioning design.
