Default Anvil restoration

I need advice on the restoration of anvils.
What kind of welding rod must I use ?
At this moment I have 5 anvils of different sizes and all with some degree of damage.
Can anyone help ?

BP0101 Anvil Repair

alsso BP0249 if it will let you access it.

I usually find it much easier to be wrong once in while than to try to be perfect.

I thought welding it destroys the surface hardness?
