Default Tin Plate

Hi.. thanks.. I am a civil war rennactor soldier and living historian. As of lately I have been looking into the art of Tinsmithing. I would love to give it a try but I have been unable to locate Tin Plate.. Could anyone tell me where and how to aquire some?.. Thank you

I heard that "Barnhart studios" sell small amounts. I haven't checked the site myself.

There's a website for tin knockers called www.tintinkers.org. I believe many of the members make their own tinplate.
