Welcome to IFI, Steelwitch. Your input here will be appreciated. You have a very impressive gallery of work on your site. Feel free to share your knowledge of the craft.

Howdy from East TEXAS!! and welcome to IFI! I was hoping you would post soon and figured this would be the place you would go. I saw your "handle" as a 'new member' earlier today and, when checking your profile to see where you were from, I noticed your web site. Nice work, both you and Eric! Glad you are here. I mostly forge steel but, on occasion, work some copper. Love the stuff as it is so much fun to work. Mostly I make roses but have made a dish and a few hearts hammered out of copper. I have a picture of one of the roses in the gallery if you want a look see. Once again, welcome and look forward to seeing more of your work.

Salut Debra
Great job, great finesse of execution.
Your site is also very interesting.
What thickness of sheet metal are you using for your repoussages? Your support ... you can change the hardness and how clean you at the end of your work?
Sorry for the English approximation!
A+ PL
