Here is the list of tools we will need for the forge trailer. We may > have to have some take-backs in order to have sufficent tooling for > the Conference, but this is what we would like to have on the trailer permanently: Let Mike or Barry know what you are donating so that we don't have too many of each. > > For every forging station: > > > 2 - 2-1/2 pound cross pein hammer > 1-1/2 pound ball pein hammer > Hot hardy > Center punch > Ruler and or Tape measurer > Hand wire brush > Tongs: > V-bit - 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" > Flat > Flatbar/boxjaw - 3/4", 1" > Ring (actually for holding non handled punches) > > > One for every two forging stations: > Small post Vice (~4") (One from Barry, One from Phil - already > donated) Files - flat, half round, square, and round > 6-8 pound sledge hammer > Handled hot cut > Round punches (handled or non-handled) 1/4" to 1/2" > Square punches (handled or non-handled) 1/4" to 1/2" > Hacksaw Dan Tull is providing hacksaw,wire brush, handled hot cut,sledge, couple of files, and a small ball pien hammer. I have finally had the time and a good reason to check it out. Thanks Russ for posting this for us. I am going to take the vise over to Mike tomorrow. For you who are making tools, don't forget to put your mark on them. Barry |
