Hello! I have been an amateur welder for quite a while building projects for around my house,for friends, and around my hunting camp. My son (he's eleven) wanted to try making his own knives and got me started looking into forging. I did a little reading and after attempting our first knife, my son and I were hooked. It is a great way for us to spend time together. The site has great information and look forward to looking through all of it. The blueprints that I have looked over look great. I work better with examples. Please forgive any stupid questions I may ask.
