Been reading and observing for some time finally going to try some blacksmithing. I have 2 great people to work with willing to give me lessons. One is an old time blacksmith does everything by hand. The other is a master knifemaker and a good friend. Looking forward to hammering some hot steel.

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you have a good head start with a couple of willing instructors in your corner. Good for you!
