Default good wood

my father is a hard wood floor installer and recently turned me on to some very nice brazillian cherry to use for handles. a thought to those out there looking for a decent wood in the very hard range that resists spliting look to your local flooring retailers installers i am impressed. cant beat the price either.

The resin bamboo flooring I've seen look keen, too. Vertical-grain bamboo, solid horizontal-grain bamboo, and woven bamboo flooring. I suspect floor samples would be more than enough to handle a knife or two.

That Br cherry makes great handle material, just needs a lot of hand work.
