Forgot to tell you about the hardness and the weight: it´s around the 60 HRC and 252 grams light, which is around 9 oz.

The whip is selfbraided, about 11 ft long and at the thickest diameter close to 1 1/2". It´s traditional braided in three layers. The cover layer started with 16 strands braided four over four/ four under four and goes constantly down over 12, 8 to 4. The handle of this snake whip is an old canonball from a small ancient ship´s bowcanon, covered with a s called "Turk´s Head". The cracker is braided silk.

Glad you like it!

Greetings from Germany
