Once again! Antracit Blacksmithingsportal consecutive, for the fifth year arrange the Blacksmith meeting in Granbergsdal north of Karlskoga in Sweden. This has now become a tradition and we would like to invite Blacksmiths and metalworkers from all over the world to participate. Like earlier year the central activities take place att “Hyttblecket” = Furnace yard, close to the old Furnace and “Hejarsmedjan/PowerhammerSmithy”.

There will be tents from Antracit with different participants (read below). Furnace and Charcoal making is of course operated the whole week and on Saturday there will be music performance close to the Furnace and RocknRoll in “Hejarsmedjan/PowerhammerSmithy” later in the evening.

There is a small house with sleeping facilities and you can for shore camp or come with caravan. Youth hostels and hotels exist in Karlskoga and requires therefore car or transport. Other
It is free of charge to participate at the event. Bring special tools if you need, we have the basic equipment. You are welcome to bring products to show or sell. There are plans to hold Exhibitions. This will be done inside the old Furnace and all participant are welcome to show there items. At the scene there will be Blacksmithing competitions, speed and accuracy? Please sign up for an hour's session if you have a simple task that you can offer to teach! Please write if you need mattress, special food needs, and if you can teach a small session and with what task? Family members are welcome!

sounds like another WONDERFUL event. I only wish I could make the trip "across the pond". BUT........I'll just have to settle for looking at all the photos when you post them.
