Default Software choices for Mac?

We are ending our first year self employed. I am looking to Stream line our bookkeeping. To that end since we have old quickbooks and now have a Mac, I am looking to go with new better software. Quicken has looked easier to me, QBooks hasn't been very easy for me to understand ( still don't) and there is software out there that I am wondering if it offers anything I ought to know about.

This is a Sole proprietorship, and we intend to get bigger, so being able to expand is a consideration.

Opinions anyone?

I agree with Pete, you should stick with QBooks, take a course or have your accountant show you how do use it better. It is much more functional than quicken and will grow with your business needs.

i would recomend sticking with quick books for your book keeping and depending on your shop i would take it its going to be metal fabrication or blacksmith shop i would recomend looking into http://www.profitfab.com/ its never to early to start looking at something like that ahead of time even if you are a small 1 or 2 man shop if your gona grow id start with something like that as well.
