 Lobster back bend
Hi, I`m a plater/fabricator and have been asked to make a lobster back bend from 6mm stainless steel . I have made many of these but it was about 15 years ago. I need some pointers to help me or a book on pattern development .Thanks in advance

Welcome aboard Derek. We'll be more than happy to help you out but . . . Lobster back bend? Eh? A picture or sketch would be helpful, then again, I'm sure there's someone here who knows exactly what you're talking about. also, if you'll click on "User CP" at the top of the page and edit your profile to show your location there's probably someone close who can lend you a hand directly. a lobster back bend is a conical elbows it kinda looks like a stove pipe elbow with more sections i didn't know either i had my friend mr google tell me i have seen alot of these when i was pipe fitting but they were made by the tin nockers so i don't know how to make it but when googled there was alot that came up

What size do you need? Same size on each end? How many segments?
