I've recently been looking into Japanese puzzle boxes and I don't see why one couldn't be made from metal. My question is does anyone have or know where i could find plans for one and has anyone even considered such a thing or is it completely obsurd. -Drew |

I did not know what a puzzle box was, so I checked it out on the web. Here is a simply made metal puzzle box. Small Push Puzzle Box Thanks for the post. If I can ever get bored I may have to try one of these. If you could get plans it would be like getting the combination to a safe. |

I just caded this cube a couple days ago, I plan to use it as office art. The black part is steel. The other colors are brass, aluminum and copper. I plan to imbed the non ferrous parts with magnets to allow it to stick to the steel part. Hopfully it turns out as nice as I imagine it will. Chris Last edited by cwilliams; 11-06-2008 at 11:34 AM. |
