Hard to make a good call without seeing the condition of the gear itself. As far as your drive gear is concerned, it is possible to obtain a replacement of sorts. Barring any chance of obtaining parts from another blower, you will have to consider buying new. In North America, a good company to look to is Boston Gear, I would assume there should be a similar company across the pond. There are many points you must take in to account before ordering any off the shelf gear for replacement, diameter, tooth pitch, etc.. Some websites actually will provide the formulas required for ordering replacement gears.
