It has been a long day. The first job was to mount the mill vise and radius the 75's dies using a round over bit. Then hand sanding and filing to debur and smooth edges. Normalized the dies and wedges, followed by reheating and quenching and tempering. Sounds easy, right? Ain't. Sanded off weld spatter from the sow block and painted. Dave Hammer walked in and I band sawed some annealled H-13 so he can make some dies for his 3B. It took quite a long time and he got antsy and left instead of getting a second cut done. Was on his way to Kerry's to look at Kerry's latest stuff (some of which he's been keeping quiet about). I had to wait for the tempering so I reset the mill with a 90 degree fence, moved the 75 outta the way again, and then mounted an anvil billet and cut one end, and tuned the fence angle to get it right. That end milling work is for later in the week. When the dies came out of the tempering over they looked okay. Hopefully they'll look that way tomorrow when I clean them up and install them in the 75 for some hot metal testing.

Delivery is scheduled for Saturday. Gonna shoot some pictures and make a new owner manual.

Called in an order for pneumatic components. Joe was going to call me back and he didn't. So I called him at quuitting time and he said he was inundated. We'll talk tomorrow. Bizzinezz may be picking up if he's inundated. Also called my graphics artist and will meet with him tomorrow.

Missed dave, he must have come at lunch (late today).

Maybe he stopped by and saw the 4B anyway. I'll call him tomorrow.
