Well today was the day i had to make some changes to the way i work, i usually forge in the open air with a tarp for cover in case of rain, but today the dreaded first frost decended on me and my forge.

New forge form liberated steel

Today i decided to upgrade my forge from a fire brick nightmare, i used all scrap bits of steel that were just lying round the yard and some not so scrap bits, (sorry dad).
I used some 5mm x 100mm plate for the base and 50mm x 50mm angle for the sides, i also managed to liberate an old compressor from a skip cut one end off end welded it the base...
