New anvil

I went to the monthly meeting of the Maumie Valley Blacksmiths this morning. Last month one of the fine members there offered me a road find he came across to use as an anvil. Well today I went with an empty trunk. It took two of us to get it in the car some how I was able to get it out by my self and on to a dolly. I estimate it at around 200Lb's man am I gonna be sore tomorrow.lol

Man does this thing beat using RR track. Strikes make a nice dull thud and steel moves so easy on it.
Also I got to see a demo on how to make a pair of simple bolt tongs that I will have to make when it isn't raining.
